Matthew 5:14-16

"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."

Isn't it great to know we are all a part of God's master plan? That each of us was placed here for a reason? I can't begin to express how great it feels to know that God is always with us, that he created me, you....everyone for his purpose. WOW.
Part of his plan was that we live for him, that we tell those around us how our relationship with God has changed us, how it has made us who were are. As scripture says, WE are the lamps of the world, and God is our everlasting oil. Through him we may shine eternal.

God gives you the opportunity to shine as an example of his love. Just as you would not turn a lamp on and place it under the table, he does not want us to hide the gifts of his love from the world.

Prayer: Lord, I thank you for the gift of life you have bestowed upon me. I pray that through you I may shine as a beacon to others, as an example of how your love can transform. Help me to use my gift to bring people closer to you.

Welcome to my Blog. As this is my first time please bear with me.
I think it's important to note, I am NOT a pastor, just someone who feels compelled to share their experiences as a believer and my take on them. I also want to share with you the word of God. It changed my life, just as I know it will/can change yours.
